It's kind of surreal being on the other side of nightmarish water ride head bendy week. My perception isn't all that well yet. Under-water-ish. I don't think I was all that nice last week to quite a few people. Apologies will be issued to those unfortunate to have been in the the path of my psychological infrastructure implosion.

I recall a few fits of hysterical laughter, but over what I don't remember. At some point an 88 year old man claiming to be the founder of Earth Day called my line at work and told me he had something that would help unite the entire world. So I said okay and forwarded him to the Special Projects manager to head that up. Will report news on that.

I'm feeling more mentally stable, but still fuzzy. Alcoholic beverages consumed this weekend equal 2 whiskey sours on Friday and some cold and flu medicine on Saturday. Maybe Sunday too out of inertia. Lot's of sleep and bizzare dreams, none of which were apocalyptic for once.

Need to change Frodo's name to Dreaded Doom-mut.

Many *hugs* to [livejournal.com profile] damoyre who is entering a hectic week.

You crack me up, Steph.

I was just thinking of you today. I was sending off a package to Storm which in addition to the main contents I'd stuffed with chocolate and candy. I remember how you sent me that goooood chocolate that time :) Also how apparently the U.S.P.S. ate the tape you sent. Just hope it doesn't eat what I just sent out. Do you think labeling it as a video game might put it at risk? Those Brits are tricky!

That reminds me - I really need to get you a remake of that tape. . . I'm sorry =( There was chocolate in there too. . . So I'll try to get out another tape and chocolate before easter - or at least before it gets too hot.

Don't know on the video tape. . . the only thing I sent to England was a box of Twinkies. Didn't label that and it got through okay. Got tapes sent from England here and that was okay.

Re:

I sent home made cookies to Germany, black currant juice to England, pork brain and milk gravy to England (before mad cow disease), etc., no problems. The funny thing is, I used to send stuff just wrapped up in newspaper and tape, no real "package." Everything always got there. This time I got an actual box :)
