My amazon card emailed me today begging me to use it. I'm sure it's lonely, as I paid it off and put it in a drawer somewhere out of sight.
They have this point system where if you buy shit with it they award you so many points. When you hit a certain number they give you $25 to spend at Amazon. But if I sign up, I get 3xs the points !!!OMFG!!!
So I'm guessing I need to spend a few hundred to earn the points to get $25 off my next purchase at Amazon. Then add in the massive interest rate fee.
But I have to admire the marketing scheme in a time of economic desperation. "Please use our card. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE! AH, COME ON!"
