I'm sad that he's gone, but at the same time relived for him. He didn't want to be here. He was in fact rather surprised when he made it to 70 and disgruntled that cigarettes hadn't killed him when he reached 80.
It's just sad to have one less humanist on this boat.
I kept dreaming about reading his books all night. Not about the stories, but just sitting down and reading, turning pages. It was strange.
