So today I got on the bus and it appears that prior to my entrance a Jehovah's Witness exploded. Watch Towers and little leaflets EVERYWHERE! So i picked up a few to add to my collection. There's a great one that tells you how Jesus can help you lose weight because Satan makes you fat.

I think I'm finally over my cold and sinus infection, which is good. I can take off work now. Great line from Selma Hayek in The Faculty - "I'm saving my sick days for when I'm well." Yeah. So I took [livejournal.com profile] _darlingnicky_'s birthday off to spend the day with her.

What color is most reflective of you?
Blue/Aqua

How did you get the idea for your lj name?
Let me make this perfectly clear, it has NOTHING to do with my fondness for cats. Please stop sending me your cat obsessed e-mails. It's from a Vonnegut book of the same title. Some things can only be seen with the mind's eye - a perfect handle for cyberspace, I think.

Write a song lyric that's in your head:

Well it's Ninth and Hennepin
All the doughnuts have names that sound like prostitutes
And the moon's teeth marks are on the sky
Like a tarp thrown all over this
And the broken umbrellas like dead birds
And the steam comes out of the grill
Like the whole goddamn town's ready to blow...
And the bricks are all scarred with jailhouse tattoos
And everyone is behaving like dogs
And the horses are coming down Violin Road
And Dutch is dead on his feet
And all the rooms they smell like diesel
And you take on the dreams of the ones who have slept here
And I'm lost in the window, and I hide in the stairway
And I hang in the curtain, and I sleep in your hat...

What song is that from?
9th and Hennepin, Tom Waits.

Lost comments: I so very HEART Hurley! This episode did my cosmic conspiracy theory heart good. The numbers if you didn't catch them: 4 8 15 16 23 42. The #42 HGttG reference - nice - but the use of 23 KICKASS! If you read Robert Anton Wilson, there's something called the 23 Enigma - pops up a lot in conspiracy theory. Also, add up the numbers and you get 48 - the number of original survivors.

And for the record, the writers of Magnolia - please refer to Lost before ever again attempting to write about synchronicity. Thanks.

(Edit: I'd like to see stats on how many people play that lottery number this week.)

Correction: If you add all the digits of the numbers plus Hurley's worth in America $156mil 4+8+1+5+1+6+2+3+4+2+1+5+6=48

Sorry, sorry. Correction: If you add all the digits of the numbers plus Hurley's worth in America $156mil 4+8+1+5+1+6+2+3+4+2+1+5+6=48

Also found this: If you add up the numbers, 4+8+15+16+23+42=108, and subtract that from Hurley's net worth (156-108=48), again, it equals the number of survivors
