Have you guys seen this?

Last week G2 launched Operation Clark County to help readers have a say in the American election by writing to undecided voters in the crucial state of Ohio. In the first three days, more than 11,000 people requested addresses. Here is some of the reaction to the project that we received from the US

Jesus. What a way to undermine yourselves there. Apparently Americans remember colonial history a bit better than the Brits - and that's quite an accomplishment for us. Dudes, we fought two wars to get you out of our politics.

All the kidding aside, swing-state voters are overwhelmed with so much bullshit political adds and door-to-door hasslers right now, that they really don't need citizens of other countries adding fuel to the fire. I know y'all hate Bush - many Americans do to. We're sorry - but there are other ways to get your point across. Hold a mock election if you want. Have effigy burnings. But don't harrass people that would have otherwise been on your side.

Yeah, heard about that whenever the news first came out. What a dumb-ass thing to do. I bet 99.9% of people who got those letters were just irritated as hell!

I couldn't believe the stupidity when I heard about this move. How is it possible for one culture to so seriously misunderstand another? We're supposed to share a "special relationship", as the pundits call it. But even so, that does not give them leave to dictate any aspect of our national policy. I almost wonder if a Bush supporter didn't think this one up.
