So, I was looking for writing contests and found this: Writer's Digest Assignment. This month's assignment is to write a rejection letter for a now famous author that's 75 words or less. Having nothing to lose and a few spare minutes on my hands, I wrote this:

Dear Mr. Vonnegut,

While your story is indeed inventive, the events that unfold in your work are too far fetched and comical to be taken seriously. Furthermore, many of your ideas resemble that of the worst in the science fiction genre and inspire only contempt from the serious literary writer. I suggest that you try Weird Tales if you ever wish to be published.
