Good news over the weekend, there are two stores that are interested in selling my beads in their shop on consignment. Both are metaphysical book stores. They're not the Catholic rosaries, obviously, they're the Pagan/Wiccan/Celtic/Gnostic/Whatever meditation beads.

I've got a new shipment of beads and stuff coming in this week and then I'll get started on the new designs. So far here's the list of meditation beads I'm going to make:

The Triple Goddess
Sophia
Bast
Tara/Gaia
Astarte
Dionysus
Ti'amat

And I'd like to make one to Eris, otherwise she tends to cause trouble. Not sure how to design that one though. I wonder if I can find a charm of a golden apple. . .

I'd also like to set up the business so that I can custom design the beads for people. Tell me the God/Goddess/Tradition you'd like to meditate on and I'll do the research and come up with tentative prayers and beads that help reflect on it.

Anyone that has idea I'd be happy to hear them.

Here's another contact for you. kathleen@jumpingwater.com

Kathleen runs a wonderful little metaphysical shop in Charleston, South Carolina. Write to her and mention that I sent you. =) She might be interested in selling the beads, too.

Just a word to the wise. be careful with consignment. The first time you do it that's fine...but if everything sells that first time and they want more...make them buy them out right. I got totally screwed on consignment by the woman I worked for and she STILL owes me over $500. Figure out what it costs to make them and then double it. Make sure you're figuring in your time too. ;) Good luck. They are beautiful! They'll sell like hotcakes.

Thanks for the tips =) I was thinking I'd do that. If the beads look like they're selling good, I'd ask that they buy them. Alternatively, I'm also thinking of writing up a contract where in I stop by the stores once a week and collect.

Thanks =)
