To the Democratic "leaders" in the House and Senate, Nancy Pelosi and Tom Daschle. Leaders are elected to lead, not to whirl like weathervanes in the winds of opinion polls. To lead, they ought know what they are doing and talk straight, and this is precisely where our leadership becomes a laughingstock. Try harder.
Just heard that Yellow Times was shut down because of the pictures posted of US and Iraqi injured and dead. Their server was pressured to remove the page. If you click on the link, it says they are down for an upgrade. Not true. If they ever go back up, don't expect to find the pictures there.
On CNN last night, Michael Moore appeared and wore the cap that the students from my university gave him at an event a few weeks ago. When asked if he regreted what he said at the Oscars, he said no, but that he wished he could have said that the students of Columbine, and at all high schools, have now learned that the United States believes that violence is a good means to solve problems. How sad. . .
Also on CNN, reporter Walter Rogers made the comment that he was feeling not so safe, as his vehicle was thin skinned and all the others had heavy armor. Guess we now know what the military thinks of reporters ;)
I have a headache.
