catscradle Mar. 19th, 2003 08:16 am)So now we're officially at blizzard. Officials are calling this a "perfect storm". I've been through a tornado, hurricane and now are real live blizzard. That leaves earthquake and volcano on the extreme weather list that I still need to experience. I seriously need to take pictures and post them. The sight outside is unreal. . . @_@
So I'm at home as only medical personal and snow ploughs are allowed on the road. Don't know if anything will be open tomorrow. They say the snow shouldn't let up till noon tomorrow. And then there's the question of will anything still be able to get through.
Total accumulation in the city is about 2 - 2 1/2 feet right now - they predict over 3 before it's all over. In the foot hills it's 3-4 ft depending on where you're at. Some places have as much as 5.
Crazy.
