As for the right to assembly - I think it's spotty. Had the protest been in Denver, things would have been far more peaceful. Colorado Springs is just too ultra conservative and the police don't really care who is watching. As for the media - no. Colorado media is in the pocket of the corporations and politicians. Had they been there, I think the negative spin would have been greater. As it stands, we only got a small blurb. we're hoping that the legal observers and the indy media get the real story out.
