So I'm on a search for a dog at various shelters around Denver. As some of you know, I lost my dog a few years ago to old age. Loved my dog. Though I've been around cats for the past few years due to roommates that have pets and now I've got Glowbug the wonder guinea pig, I miss the compaionship of a dog. So on the search goes. Though I think what will happen is I'll show up at the first shelter and one of the dogs will be just too cute and all my research will go for naught. Hopefully it won't end up being Stitch.

Anyway, I'm starting to believe that animal shelter websites maynot have the staff they need to maintain the pages: A very peculiar Labrador Retriever

Sad thing is, many of the links and pics matched up like that =P Good thing the lab wasn't listed under the guinea. . .

Good luck in your search. How bizarre, I can say the adoption pages around here for the shelters are a little better organized than that. :)

Don't go for cute, but go with your heart. Kenny captured my attention by NOT being cute. In fact he ignored everyone, which was why my sister didn't want him, but once they let us take him for a walk... that was four years and now he has the run of the house and us. ^__^

Hm!

That's one funky lookin' Lab. But it's how Pepper sees herself! She was kept with the kittens and cats at the shelter, because there was no room with the pups! So, she plays like a cat!

Good for you goin' to a shelter. =) Labs are wonderful critters. Beware of lab-mixes with white feet, chests, and general white markings. Could be part Border Collie. That's what Pepper is! They are very smart... but OH MY!!! They do herd things! LOL! (But I love my Labradollie even if she is OC!)
