Six Things People Probably Don't Know About Me
1. When I was in the fifth grade, my so-called bestfriend dumped me for "cooler" friends.
2. I can't roller skate.
3. I gave up driving to preserve my sanity about 6 years ago.
4. I once fell off a bridge while measuring it and getting schematics for a historical presevation project.
5. In high school, a friend of mine was driving me so nuts I faked illness 9 times my junior year so I wouldn't have to deal with her.
6. I was 4 credits shy of a core class in my philosophy degree (symbolic logic), but it slipped through the cracks in the system and they listed that on my diploma as a duel degree with anthropology.
Five Hobbies:
1. Writing fanfic
2. fiddling with my website
3. collecting dime-store copies of H. P. Lovecraft books.
4. painting, art stuff
5. grad school
Four injuries I Still Remember
1. Running into a tree and later needing a patch over my eye (5 years old).
2. Falling down a flight of stairs at my uncle's and brusing the entire shin on the metal tips (9 years old)
3. Flying over the handle bars of my bike and landing chin first on cement. Still have the scar (12 years old)
4. Dropping a glass in the sink and cutting an artery (it was a spurter) in my pinky finger - very deep scar is left there (12 years old).
Three People I Met Online Before Meeting Them In Real Life (in order of meeting
them)
1. Black Rose &
2. LadyBD (picked me up at the airport) and
3. TBQ (her plane came in right after mine).
Then there's Cindy, torch, Clair, Misha, Erick, Vesailles Rose, Sorcha, Theresa, Bette, Susan, Morrigan. . . Lots of others I can't think of off the top of my head.
Two People You Truly Dislike. They Must Be Someone You Know.
Bill Dobich - he was a loss prevention agent for a grocery store I worked at that kept me in a locked room for 2 hours trying to make me confess to stealing a magazine. Mom saved the day with finding said magazine and producing the receipt. Not only did he scream at me for two hours straight, he never asked me if I took the magazine. He just told me to confess or things would go a lot harder on me. I was 19 and terrified at the time, but I refused to confess.
Anne Rice - She's possibly the meanest most vindictive person I've ever come across. Forgiving the fact that all her books from the past 12 years or so are complete crap, she shut down a start-up tour business for tour the sites that can be found in her books - AFTER SHE GAVE THEM HER BLESSING TO DO IT. She used them for marketing research and then shut them down a year later and opened up her own. Why she didn't buy them out and offer them jobs is beyond me, she just served them with cease and desist papers. Her's failed as she was charging $50+ while they were charging $15. Oops. Little oversite there. After that she later served everal fanfic writers with letters from laywers to stop writing or ELSE! And yes, I've met her and have talked with her. She had me stalked while I lived in New Orleans by her little cronie from the ARVLFC. Cute.
One Thing I'm Truly Proud Of.
Living on my own with a good job and nearly done with my masters. I feel like I've made it to adult land.
