Well, the Pledge of Allegiance thing is setting off a ton of sparks: CNN Pledge Article
If you go to the link, there's a niftly little history of the Pledge link that documents its evolution. Seems as though it was origianlly conceived by a Socialist and the "Under God" part had not been added till 1954 when the Communist fear was running amok (this is for the folks that think it's actually Political Correctness that's running amok and the Senator that believes the founding fathers are spinning in their graves.)
