Thanks for this link: this is one of the most concise, well-thought out essays I have seen--it lays out all the things that the average American feels (or should feel) disgruntled about and it's put fairly simply. I've already posted it on my own LJ and emailed it to everyone I know. If nothing else, it helps as far as talking points go--you never know when one well placed argument may actually go some way in changing someone's mind or motivating them to get up and actually vote.
