Well, I'm actually only semi-back-from-the-dead. Battling a cold which turned into a sinus infection which turned to an ear infection. YES! I love my life.

So needless to say I've not written any of those plot bunnies yet. But I'm trying. I have one story completely mapped out. Only took about 15 minutes as a thunderbolt struck me Monday while I was walking to pick up my chicken (it was the lunch special at Star Market for anyone who is wondering). This is a Duo story as told by Quatre. I think it makes sense given I have a Trowa story as told by Duo and a 1+3 as told by Quatre. This is to complete my trend in never getting a story first hand when you can muddle it with everyone elses opinion.

For those of you wondering if I will ever finish my VC fic, Devil's Minion - the answer is still yes - in my own sweet time. Stop bugging me. I'm a grad student on the last stretch, this may take some time.

I'm currently putting together a four day seminar on Christian Gnosticism in the first and second century. Anyone interested in seeing part of this online, let me know. If there's interest, I may post some of it for a short time on my school webpage.

Immortality Awards - Getting the coding done - I'm still running it for those that care.

New fandoms to write in - I'm seriouslly considering Queer as Folk. For you purists out there, I speak of the US version, so avert your eyes. The last three episodes of the first season sold me as a show made for the sake of fine art. Brian Kinney dancing to "Happy Feet" and "Save the Last Dance for Me" - YES! Poopoo on the girl who said Brian couldn't dance - I'll tango with him any day. Of course it's Emmett who's captured my heart. And he looks fine in neon and transparent.

I think I've given up on writing in the Buffy fandom - tried to write it a few times, but it just wasn't in me. On the other hand, I keep getting bunnies for Northern Exposure. Any NX fans out there, get in tounch with me and lets talk. I've been seeing Joel/Chris as a possibility for the last 8 years. One day I'll actually write that, I swear.

Onward to work. . .
So I'm sitting in my class on Islamic mysticism and we're talking about a certain Sufi mystic that challenged the religious tradtions and practices of his times. Now, I can see, and agree with, how many of the Muslims in the class thought the guy went over board and he wasn't a true Muslim, just like I can see why Jews think the same thing of Jesus - but when you have hardcore Christians saying that the guy was too radical and he should have known when to shut up - well, I have to wonder if they know jack on what Jesus was all about. Their personal lord and savior was put to death, basically, because he was too radical for them. How, tell me HOW, did this escape them?

Just wondering. . .
