Why?	Strong characterizations with original story lines and they tend not to rehash the same story over and over agian. It's always fresh when I read their stuff.

The worst author:	Now, there's no call for naming names here. What's important is that everyone tries :)

The best story you have written:	Oh, I don't know. Maybe Winding Down the Day. I'd say Devil's Minion, but I never finished it.

Do you leave feedback?	Yeah, I try to whenever I like a story. But I so seldom read fanfic these days.
Do you get feedback?	Usually.
Do you have a favorite kink?	When someone has power and conrol over another - though not really BDSM, more in terms of politics and/or military.
Does something squick you?	It's hard to squick me.
Is slash simply sex?	Nope

How much time do you spend reading/writing?	Not much lately. It used to be a good portion of my life.
Do you have RL friends who slash?	Nick admits to nowing what it is, but I KNOW he reads BtVS slash.

Do you think slash is just a phase?	No. After 10 years I think I can call it a commitment ;)
Could you simply stop slashing?	No, when you start thinking Kerry/Edwards, you know it's a chronic disease.

Angst	This also depends on the skill of the author. I simply hate melodrama, so if angst slips into it, which it usually does, I don't like it.

RPS	Usually I hate these fics, but I'm very drawn to Elijah/Dom RPS. I think it has something to do with the photographic evidence.
RPG	These are very fun to write.

Established relationships	I'm mostly bored with these, but occasionally there's a cool couple.

Crossovers	Almost never works. Unless you have two series set in the same universe like Buffy and Angel.

Your pet peeve:	Authors that started out wonderful and sunk to the lowest common demoninator to keep fans.
Your advice to new slashers:	When you write, think of one person. Don't worry about the feedback, think of your muse and how you don't want to let that *one* person down. Don't listen for the applause, it will lead you astray.
Your slash wish list:	More Trowa/Duo. There's just not enough of that.
