Or, What the FUCK Mr "President"?

So Dubya now wants to go to the moon and Mars. Prior to his presidential appointment in 2000, I was all for the space program. I was thinking it was high time we did a real mission to space again. Why not? We had a massive budget surplus, and life was looking optimistic. Then Dubya entered the oval office, 9-11 hit, he decided to go to war and splurge the surplus - now we're trillions of dollars in debt and and ecomony sucks. I can't think of a lamer thing for him to do than taut this moon and mars mission. Which you know is his little way of funneling more money into the military. Make no mistake, we're getting more fighter jets if that money gets approved.

What I don't get is the Republican line of "Democrats just tax and spend, tax and spend. That's no good for America!" Yet under Reagan and Bush we had a huge deficit. Clinton, with all his taxing and spending, gave us a huge surplus. Dubya has stripped us of everything we had and put us in a hole so deep the light at the end of the tunnel is just the rest of our retirement money being burned to heat us in the winter. That ought to last through this february. I hope none of us were planning to live past 65.

So what are the Reps saying again? The Democrats are just going to tax and spend, tax and spend. Jesus, it seems to work though! Whatever they were doing, it works! Are the Republicans really trying to tell us that their methods of driving the economy into the ground and grinding it to jelly are working better? What? What, what, what? I don't get this insane troll logic. And why the hell are people nodding their heads and buying it? When I see women living in poverty with kids they can't support saying things like "That President Bush is a good man." I just have to wonder where the mind warping radio signals are coming from and how does one protect themselves from it? (Yeah, I know Clinton didn't help women in poverty much either, maybe that's the reason. . . But then you have Bush saying we need to support tradtional nuclear families and fuck everyone else. Yeah, some nice guy.)

This guy doesn't stand for the majority of the American people out there. 50% of married couples are divorced. Many couples are same-sex. A good many families are single parents raising a couple kids and a whole hell of a lot of us are struggling single folks who seem to be penalized for not wanting to get hitched. Why are the working class, the fucked over class, supporting this guy?

My only answer is - insane troll logic is taking over. It's in the water, it's in the air. Start putting the tin foil hats on, folks.
