Easter!

I received Mom's annual Easter care package at work today. Enclosed in an Act II popcorn box that my dad no doubt go from Sam's Club, I got a roll of poppy seed kolach, a bunny pez dispenser, a giant peanut butter egg from Gorant's, a bunch of microwave popcorn and a blessed palm mom got at Mass from church last Sunday.

Thanks mom! =)

Tell me about it! That peanut butter egg, is sacred man.

Frodo is doing well =) He's got a thing about dragging everything I own into the landing on the stairwell. But, he's getting a bit better about that. Provided he's got a chewy to occupy him, which I happen to forget today before going to work @_@ Oops.

Hanging in. I go for shoulder surgery on 6/27 because of a rotorcuff tear and a bone spur. The doc has been giving me samples of pain/antiinflamatory drugs to keep me comfortable. (none of which give me a decent buzz, but that's life!) Since my balance is off, I've taught Pepper dog to sit beside my chair, and when I want to get up, I grab her collar and she pulls me up. (yes, she is a large dog!)But other than this, life goes on, and we're ok. Going to Charleston again and looking forward to evenings at Tommy Condon's Pub (like O'Flaherty's in NoLa).

Awwww, that's sweet!

When I was in college, a couple of times my mom sent me Easter care packets. Her thing was to take an old bank checks box and stuff it with hearts and jujus and heart-shaped red hots :)
