Someone hit 3000 - claim your prize. But remember your number you hit. If no one claims 3000 by noon MST, I'll take the next at 3001 - if no one claims that, I'll go for 3005.
Name Meme
1. What does your first name mean?
Stephanie: from the Greek Stefanos meaning a garland or crown.
2. What does your middle name mean?
Ann - French, English, German form of Hannah, from the Hebrew name Channah which meant "favour" or "grace"
3. What does your last name mean?
I don't know, unfortunately. I tried looking it up but all the sites demanded I pay them. Dad wasn't answeing the phone, damn him!
4. So what does your name mean when put together?
Crowned with grace? Garland of favor? Crowned with a garland of favor and grace?
5. What would you have been named if you were the opposite gender?
Stephen (mom insisted I be named after her father no matter the gender. . .)
6. Any other name oddities?
The spelling of Dad's last name was changed when great grandpa arrived at Ellis Island. They changed the last letter from a "j" to a "y" because they couldn't figure out how to pronounce it.
