From The Guardian: No way out for Saddam - Blair

Tony Blair today refused to rule out using nuclear weapons in a conflict against Iraq, as MPs grilled the prime minister for two and a half hours on the subject of Saddam Hussein.

And for our bitter amusement (supplied by [livejournal.com profile] geckodru), catch the freudian slip in this radio show quiz (#1). Best one since the WWIII slip in the Denver Post last month.

20,000 marched in Denver yesterday. Estimated half a million showed up in DC on the 19th. Got to hold out a little hope for sanity's sake.

Okay, I'm way too tired to get it. What's the slip?

And as long as we're talking about the war, is it just me or when you read the reports about the warheads do you get reminded of those stories about cops who carry knives with them to drop down to the ground after beating somebody just so they can say "They were armed, I swear it!"

Yeah, it's real subtle, but quite amusing and scary when you catch it *g*

And yeah, the warhead casings were a bit of a concern. What can you trust when the US refused to hand over 8,000 pages of Iraq's weapons report to the non-permanent members of the UN? My God, only five countries have the complete dossier and all of them are politically in the US back pocket.
