Going over Nick's today to see the new apartment and watch films for our upcoming documentary film series. We need to go over some logistics as well. Seems the univeristy is going to underwrite the budget to invite Michael Moore for our film project. I'm estatic about that =). If they send people other than Nick and I to assist him, I'm going to be pissed.

I'm apparently one of those people that will chew an entire pack of gum in an hour. Just got this pack of Bazooka Joe and it's nearly gone. . . "Joe words of Wisdom: The nail that sticks out gets hammered. As well it should!" So there you go, kids. Be a comformist. Joe sez it's cool.

Site of the day (from [livejournal.com profile] geckodru): Bush Family Values Photo Album. Scary thing, it's no joke. All those links go to reputable news sources. Remember: Hide everything in plain sight. . .

1. Where do you currently work?

I work registration at a university in Denver in the grad school department for adult learners and online classes. Distance learning is becoming our main focus.

2. How many other jobs have you had and where?

In Ohio - Pizza Hut, Giant Eagle (video clerk), YSU (student assistant), Kelly (temp).

New Orleans - The Nature Co.(stock and inventory clerk), Little Princess (girl's dress shop in the Riverwalk mall).

Denver - Block Buster (shut up, it was in walking distance from my house), I took two years off of work to finish my course work for the masters program in religious studies, I've been at my current job in registration at the University for 14 months.

3. What do you like best about your job?

It's flexible (nice for class schedule). Nicer environment to work in than service jobs. The people are great. There's advancement, free classes and lots o'benefits, paid holidays and merit raises =) And last, but not least, they pay me a shit load livable wage.

4. What do you like least about your job?

Idiots. We have a lot of students that get nasty when they can't get into their class because they waited too long to register, or if there's a hold on their account because their bill wasn't paid from the last quarter. And now we're dealing with the public at large due to the Bridges Project - let's just say it's a very different mindset. It takes us twice as long to deal with these people than it does the regular students. So our work load has more than doubled.

5. What is your dream job?

To be able to write for a living. Fiction, creative non-ficiton, essays, article - just write.
