Okay, got this from
flambeau
The last five fics I wrote and what I think they say about me. . .
All of these are GW:
All Along the Watch Tower - First person, past tense, gen fic, canon vignette
Good Tidings - Third person limted omniscience, past tense, PG slash 1+2, Christmas fic.
Half-Time w/
damoyre - Third person limted omniscience, past tense, PG slash 2+3, Games series.
Light as a Feather - Third person limted omniscience, past tense, PG slash 3+5 (maybe), weirdish.
A Crack in the Doorway - Third person limted omniscience, past tense, canon vignette, deathfic/suckfic
I guess this says that I don't like to write in the present or future tense and I tend to give the perspective of only one character. I prefer drama to action or sex and though I tend to give each fic slashish elements, they more resemble gen-fics. Four of them are also rather short - so I tend to write with small bursts of energy lately. The long fic was written with a co-author and she did most of the work *g*.
Two of the fics I really hate - they seem rushed and with little point to me (All Along the Watch Tower and A Crack in the Doorway). Good Tidings - shows that I have a sweet streak and Light as a Feather that I still like a little madness with my fiction.
The last five fics are definately not my strongest fics. I don't know if this means I just don't have the time to write or if I'm running out of steam. Of all of them, I think Light as a Feather is my best offering this year, followed by Half-Time (again, thanks to
damoyre).
I've got a few large fics brewing - we'll see where things go with them.

That's an interesting way to analyze yourself...
Breeding Discontent
third person / first person (journal) mix, past* tense (journal in present, although written in past), social critique / drama / angst / coming of age / romance fic, PG-13 or maybe R,
Contentment, third person (with first person letters), past* tense, family and romance fic, PG-13
Perennials, third person, past* tense, romantic family fic w/silly element, PG (er, although they do make a baby),
Garden of the Moon - first person, past* tense (although it's written almost like present), drama / coming of age / romance fic, PG-13,
Moon and Son, third person, past* tense, drama and romance fic, PG-13
* It's "past tense" but written almost like present, with events being recorded by some omniscient narrator who only reveals things as they happen.
I'd definitely say I've got something for romance and family right about now. Not to mention that the first three (a series) have as a main focus hara (hermaphrodites) having pearls (babies), either in forced breeding (BD's theme) or in family units. Garden also has a har having a pearl or at least expecting to have one. The whole BD, Contentment, Perennials thing winds up as one big long romance, while the last two fics involve weird one-sided romance between Moon and Thiede that ends up with Moon hooking up with somebody really unexpected. Sheesh, I need to get a life...
