Well, looks like there was another bru-ha-ha concerning the old VC boards, Rotoli and Le Sang - the following is a post I made on another LJ concerning the matter - I'm re-posting it here:
Our certain friend was not responsible for posting anything from LJ to the VC boards. I've checked the IPs and unless she's paying long distance or traveled to another state to make the posts, she wasn't responsible. The writing is also clear and easy to understand - not her tradmark. As I looked at the memberlist of
burnt_rice, there are a few people there that are friend's of hers. Perhaps one of them posted to Le Sang about it.
burnt_rice may be a closed list, but it's still open for the public to read. There should be some expectation that if people are going to be named in a negative fashion, it's probably going to get back to them and they're going to react. I don't begrudge anyone to say anything in their ljs - that's what ljs are for - but it might not be a good idea to assume that everyone on the friends lists has the same thoughts and ideas.
God knows I know this person is a pain in the ass - I've had to deal with the problem off and on for three years now. I know she's not the most stable individual - and for this reason it baffles me why anyone still bothers to give her the time of day.
The boards aren't going down because of her, just to make things clear. I'll be glad to not deal with her anymore, but she's not the reason. As DaMoyre said, I've should have taken them down long ago - but I guess I enjoy being a thorn in Mater's side.
For the record, since it's come up in a few places - boards are going down because 1) they should have two years ago with the mass exodus from the AR lawyer scare, and 2)the people that run and own it have nothing to do with those boards anymore and no longer wish to waste their server space and bandwidth on something they're not a part of. This latest incident only served to remind me why I stopped paying attention to those boards long ago.
VC will survive on mailing lists or other means, I'm sure. And believe me - mailing list are a hell of a lot easier to maintain than BBs.

You have the patience of a saint!
And by the way, have I mentioned lately how much I love all that you do for us? I know most of it is thankless, but I just wanted you to know that I really appreciate what you have to put up with to help keep some semblance of this fandom together. :-)
