Happy 4th!

Beans. I've inherited dad's beans. Every 4th of July I get asked to bring the beans now. I'm feeling old for some reason.

So today it's hot dogs, hamburgers, beans, salad and fruit skwerers. For some reason I'm craving hot dogs right now - odd, since normally they scare me. But right now I want a sour krout, relish and onion filled hot dog with extra ketchup. Nothing like a holiday to ruin a diet.

This weekend's meal will be a big ass smoked turkey leg at the renfair - because, you know, that's documentable - but it's damn good and I live for this turkey leg once a year. I've got a nice cotton, flowy sleeves top to wear that I just know is going to get ruined when I drop the turkey leg on it, but oh well.

Puke and Snot and turkey legs and Klingons riding elephants, that's what it's all about ;) The temp looks like it's only getting to 82 degrees - we're practically having winter weather from our little heat wave =P Shoud be lots o fun!

Well, I know the Fair didn't burn down. I wonder about the roads though. I'm going to try the back route. And we might get half way there and come up to a wall of fire. But, luck willing, this is gonna be great/
