I'm about to claim defeat. Working full time is just not condusive to writing fanfic. Since I started this new job I finished a whopping two fics in seven months. I've got six fic ideas breathing down my neck - three of them actually started - and I'm just way too tired at the end of the day to write anything.

Anyone else have the problem of mundania keeping them from doing anything like a hobby?

How does one make a living and keep from going insane? I'm just asking. . .

It's why I mostly just write on the weekends. I might start working on a story late at night, but it never gets concluded until the weekend. (And I try never to write uberfics).

Sometimes when I get home an idea is itching to get out, I'll fire up the machine and start writing (if I can prevent myself from logging on to the net or firing up The Sims first!) ^____^

I wish...

That method might work for me... if only I didn't have a hubby and kids to take care of on the weekends ;)

Weekends. . . I remember when weekends were relaxing and time for writing. It seems now though that I've always got some stupid thing to do over the weekends. . . or that I'm cleaning or need to rest. Maybe I just need more iron in my diet. I don't know. . . =P
