So I called the credit card people and I've been once again charged for services I don't have. Why they keep insisting I have life insurance and their stupid travel crap I have no idea. I'd switch to a new CC company if I thought this wouldn't happen with them too, but unfortunately any corporate thing I've been a part of in the past 2 years has proven to be run by money grubbing assholes that care nothing about customer service and rely on the public as being complacent lemmings that just do what their told. Less than 5% actually complain. No, I'm not going to be one that folds to the pressure - I'm going to pay the bill off and then cancel the card. This should be in the year 2008.

Post Office mail has once again let me down. They didn't update my address info after I submitted it three weeks ago, so I never received my new bank/ATM card. Has a new number so now all the things set up for auto pay are now not working. Thank you US Postal Service of Colorado. We're tied for the worst service with the state of Utah.

I called the bank to get my new number so I can pay the bills, but of course they don't give that info over the phone. So if my website blacks out, you know why now.

Speaking of bad service, I still haven't heard from Qwest to get my phoneline. Need it for the Computer. Can't get digital cable here yet. Why? Fuck knows. On the good side, we can now get 45 bps on the phone lines now - that was unheard of two years ago when at it's fastest it was 27 if it wasn't windy.

While I'm bitching - If one more instructor doesn't follow offical policy for students with incompletes or grade changes I'm going to write up a very easy, 1st grader could understand, pictorial letter complete with puppet show How-to-do-things-properly-when-your-an-adult video accompaniment. I've also gotten 20 phone calls today from students that aren't getting return e-mail from their instructors. People, you're getting paid. Do your job. Thanks.

Academic Directors: Burn in Hell.

I've had 4 hours of sleep. Can you tell?
One good thing of the day - got a free lunch. Lemon chicken, mashed potatoes, veggies and a cookie. So the entire day isn't for naught ;)

So since I don't feel like doing anymore work today, I finished this new survey. . .

I am happiest when...
People do their job right the first time. Alright, I've obviously had some problems with things today - the real answer would be: I'm happiest after I've completed a big project like a paper for class, a fic, massive cleaning spree, et cetera . . .

I feel lonely when...
I have no one to share a big accpomlishment with.

The ideal relationship would be...
One where sharing is big - we share our interests and keep an open mind to stuff we've not done before - or at least try to see why the other person might like it.

What makes you cry?
Seeing anyone suffer.

Do you think too much?
Wheels are always turning - sometimes tends to get me into trouble.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Alaska, Ireland, or somewhere east coast New England-y

Name one famous person that you would like to meet.
Kurt Vonnegut.

Do you believe in organized religion?
I don't believe that any of them have the truth - but I'm a practising Catholic.

Pro-life or pro-choice?
Pro-choice - thought that's seldom taken literally to actually mean choice. As in, I may not choose to have an abortion, but I respect the right of someone else to have one.

Are you a vegetarian?
Sometimes I try. I once went a month without meat.

Do you support the death penalty?
I don't support state sanctioned execution.

Do angels or demons exist?
Don't know, but it makes life both interesting and scary that others do.

What would you most like to be doing right now?
Writing my thesis, reading books or writing fics.

Do you have any regrets?
I"ve had a few, but I don't think of them much.

Sex or love?
Both.

Favourite scent?
Lilacs

What makes you really, really angry?
People who don't pay attention and then get pissed because life doesn't go their way. People that expect things done for them when they don't put forth any effort themselves. Simply speaking, idiots.

Favourite way to waste time?
Writing fics. Surfing the net. Reading fundy xtian pamphets

If you won $50,000,000, what would you do with it?
Buy a house in the city and take lots of trips. Give some to friends and family.

What is your best quality?
I'm very loyal to friends and family - but not blind as to not tell them when I think something is wrong.

Are you currently in love or lust?
Love. I never lust. Weird defect with me.

What's the craziest thing you've ever done?
I once jumped 25 feet into a quarry filled with water. Moved to New Orleans for two years, just 'cause. Hugged a crack addict with a face ful of pins and directed him to a shelter.

Any bad habits?
Quick to get pissed and take action against stupidity. ALmost have no tolerance for it these days.

Do you find it hard to trust people?
I don't trust easily unless I really know a person. Tough question as there are many levels of trust. Like there are some people I'd trust with my life, but wouldn't trust them to do a simple chore around the house. In terms of love and relationship, I tend to trust people more.

Do you ever doubt yourself?
All the time. Never stops me from doing anything though.

Bath or shower?
Shower.

Favourite season?
Fall.

Favourite flavour?
Mint/Chocolate or Peanut Butter/Chocolate

Favourite time of day?
Night (midnight, and the wee hours)

Gold or silver?
Silver

Silk sheets or cotton?
Cotton.

Any secret crushes?
Nope

If you could be the opposite sex for one day, would you do it?
No way.

What do you desire most in life?
To be able to do whatever I want and not worry about mundania. I don't want to care about paying bills, getting enough insurance or wondering if my job will always be there. I want to write, travel and experience life, not try and cope with it as best I can.

Do you believe in destiny?
No.

Is world peace attainable?
Not under the present mindset. There needs to be a shift on consciousness and we just ain't there yet. Refer to Hundredth Monkey syndrome.

I first got this survey from...
DaMoyre.
