So tomorrow is my oral defense of my thesis. My Academic D-Day. I finished making a few changes to the paper last night that no one will probably ever read and found myself pushing the maximum of 100 pages. It should be anywhere from 50 to 100 pages, I squeeked out 99 not counting the bibliography and abstract. This is probably the most I've ever written on one particular subject including my fiction crap. Some of it is even good, though overall I think I could have done a better job. I'm actually more interested to see if Carl noticed the "Die Carl! You die and go to HELL!" I snuck into the footnotes.

I don't anticipate pursuing a Ph.D., as I've told friends and family if I do to take a bat to my head and put me out of my misery before the pain sets in. If I do further post graduate work it will be stuff like basket weaving or glass blowing.
