catscradle Jun. 1st, 2004 01:18 pm)Still no word on the job interview I had over a week ago. They said they'd inform me either way, but I should have been told last Wednesday. Nada. But they also said they wanted to take their time with the decision, so I don't know. Be nice if I could call and ask if the position was filled, but my freaken boss is always here.
Strangely over the past week, my boss has been super overly nice to me. Lots of small talk she would never engage in with me before. Last week when the assistant director was out of the office, she started defering to me whenever she didn't know the answer to something. Then she asked me if I wanted to teach the new student orientation and tech sessions starting next quarter. A job she previously wouldn't let me do. It's just a little too coincidental for me to pass off as nothing. I've got this paranoid feeling that once again she was called by the people I interviewed with. I swear when she offered me the new student orientation session I just about cried. Christ, not again! I'm not fucking stupid.
So now that the summer quarter is about to start, I'm getting bombed - as predicted - with online tech problems. Haven't had time to do much else but deal with those. My other projects sit idle. And I don't care.
