So the athletics department gave me a call today about the adminstrative assistant position I applied for. I've got a phone appointment tomorrow morning with them. Kinda funny because he called me at work while my boss was standing behind my desk sending a fax. He's like, "I guess you can't do a phone appointment from work, huh?" Um, no. "Heh, heh, don't worry. Let's set up a time for tomorrow." He said they got bombed with resumés, and mine was one of the few they're even considering. Nice! My hopes are up. I've got four other resumés floating out there right now. I'm hoping I get a call from the law office. More money, about the same work. Maybe a bit more complex, but I'm qualified. If I'm one of the few they're considering for athletics, maybe I can wedge into the law office on the same skills.

Either way, it pays more than what I make right now and it's another notch in the experience belt. So hopefully something will come of one of the applications. *crosses fingers*
