Well, this has been floating all over LJ, so I thought I'd finally answer it the kink meme:

Reading the sexual act of body parts doing things bores me to tears. It's like watching sports for me - unless I'm doing it, I don't really care. So what I like is more in terms of mental activity.

On the more tender side - I like watching the nuances. Little touches. Specifically on the neck. Hands, lips, fingertips lightly brushing across the nape of the neck. Being held around the waist is nice or a hand on the small of the back. Small acts of love, like one character doing something for another that they wouldn't normally do - might even hate it. Heh - you know, true love is returning a defective sex toy for the one you love ;)

I also sometimes like unrequited love - stories where either the love isn't returned or can't be returned. So long as this doen't fall into melodrama. I've fallen for people that either haven't noticed or just didn't return my sentiments and here I am, still alive and undestroyed. But there's frustration - some of it sexual.
