My complete digust for all things super bowl halftime related is no shock to most people that know me. I'd rather not give more time to it than it deserves. And were it that I thought it was merely asshole performers doing their asshole things, I'd never mention it again.

Until an anvil hit me over the head.

MoveOn.org's Bush in 30 Seconds ad that CBS refused to air because it was "too contraversial" is suddenly not being discussed at all. CBS's refusal to run the ad was big enough to get a congressional hearing - this was big shit, folks. CBS was in danger of being busted for it's refusal of equal-time with regards to a political election. Guess what - it's been totally swept under Janet Jackson's tit. The uproar over the indecent exposure bullshit has put CBS in the clear for the bigger contraversy of biased media attention in favor of George Bush.

Here's the url for the Bush in 30 Seconds spot that got nixed by CBS. I urge people to watch this ad (http://www.moveon.org/cbs/ad/) and then link to it instead of talking about Janet and Justin again.
