So for several years now I've been wondering why a friend of mine would never introduce his girlfriend to anyone. I always found it odd, but never pressed it. I hate when I'm pressed for details I don't want to give, so I think it'd be hyprocritical to do it to someone else.

Well, I finally met the woman. I guess C thought what the hell, sure why not. So we went out to lunch.

She's very cute and dresses well - that's about all I can say for her on the good side. I can't say she's nasty because she didn't say enough to get that sort of information out of her. I tried talking with her, she gives one word replies and then drops all efforts of conversation. And it's not that she's shy - you can tell when someone is just very shy. I got the feeling that she was bored and annoyed the entire time. C and I got a long great and had good conversation. But the bastard then went to the bathroom and left me with her for a few minutes. I wanted to kill him.

Tried asking her about her interests, about C about whatever. Glazed over, she was. Geez. Now I know why he was afraid to bring her in public. . . @_@

My brother's first wife was like that. He couldn't understand why we didn't like her much. Needless to say they didn't stay married for very long (3 months). But it wasn't because of anything we did. We stayed out of it after meeting this girl.
