Seemed fun this week, so here it goes
1. What food(s) do you like that most people hate?
Quite a bit. Anchovies probably makes the top of the list. So when ordering pizza with friends I'm generally SOL. I also love licorice, horseraddish, shoe string french fries with heaps of malted vinegar, ketchup and salt (I'm told it's an east coast thing that most people west of the Mississippi don't get), oh, and dipping those long stem onions into horseraddish, yeah, yeah! (Oh, jesus christ, I've become my dad! Next I'll be eating head cheese, blood sausage and old famine style Slavic foods better left unmentioned. . .)
2. What food do you hate that most people love?
Mexican. I hate the spices and the beans. And cilantro makes me go into convulsions, so don't try to sneak it in my food in one of those "you just never had it prepared right" moves - I'll know if it's there. I do like a Chipotle burrito though - but I strip out anything that makes it vaguely Tex-Mex. I end up with rice, chicken, lettuce and sour cream in a flour burrito wrap.
3. What famous person, whom many people may find attractive, is most unappealing to you?
Keanu Reeves, Orlando Bloom, Michael Rosenbaum and Kevin Costner.
4. What famous person, whom many people may find unappealing, do you find attractive?
Amanda Plummer. The looks worked great on her father, but most people don't think they look good on her. I disagree. I heart Amanda Plummer. But my sister way upped me - she thinks Ari Fleisher is sexy. I just. .. can't look at her the same way anymore.
5. What popular trend baffles you?
God, what popular trends don't baffle me. . . let's see. . . the popularity of boy bands and even moreso, writing fanfic about them *shudder* (though I would still pay money to read Nick Cave/Nick Carter slash) Reality TV - my God, this is the stuff of nightmares.
wiebke had a good one with moving to the suburbs. Hate the suburbs.
versailles_rose had another good one with voting republican. Anything to do with Jennifer Lopez and the fashion industry. Actually, anything to do with Jennifer Lopez. Those Bratz dolls, how wrestling pay per view ever stayed in business and how the hell did we ever get to Spy Kids III?

2. I think what you hate is *Tex-Mex* - not Mexican. Contrary to popular belief, not every Mexican food consists of beans, spices and cilantro. There are lots of dishes that have sour cream or almond sauce as base - as opposed to the chili peppers you so despise. Steak, chicken, or fish - prepared solely with lime juice and pepper, maybe some tomato sauce. When we meet, I'll take you to a *real* Mexican restaurant. ^_~

Been to many real Mexican, trust me. Had a lot of Mexican nationals as friends in high school. Still don't like it. Though I'll agree the gourmet stuff is much better than tex-mex. I *really* love Spanish food though. There was a Spanish restaurant in New Orlean called Vaqueros that I adored. Yummy vennison =)

Under persons that other people like, but you don't, I really should have put Rudy Giulliani. He was a heartless bastard as a mayor but handled the WTC thing really well and ended his term smelling like a rose. I still can't stand him.
PS. I live in the 'burbs. I'm STILL trying to find out exactly how that happened!

Plus they're loaded with strip mall after strip mall and they all look the freaken same. There's no variation. Cities have more character - actual architecture, more specialty shops, more modes of transportation, far more local restaurants instead of chains. Suburbs all look mass produced.

Agreed on Giulliani!
And I just got out of them. Again. Here's hoping I don't find my way back =P
