So we're again in the verge of NaNoWriMo and again I realize I have not the stamina to remotely consider doing this. Though it's occured to me that I could write my thesis under the guise of NaNoWriMO and trick my mind into believing it's actually writing something it's not suppose to. Probably not though.

So again, I'm going to try to use this to write some short fiction and nonfiction essays I will submit to various mags and contests. Or so is the plan. I would like to write at least three pieces from 1500 to 5000 words. Significantly less than the 50,000 words of NaNoWriMo, but then, that's why I'm not doing it ;)

Hmm - that sounds like a good idea actually. I may try to do something similar myself. Either that or, considering how often I'm traveling next month, at least make a point to be more pro-active about finding places to submit to and then declaring Dec or Jan to be my short fiction/essay month.

I find that with eveyone talking about writing this month, I tend to be far more aware of my slackerness. Hopefully I use this as the spring board for writing something and don't neglect it again like last year =P
