Decided last minute I would go into work. Head is still cloudy from yesterday's sinus/migraine meds. Sinus passages swelled to the point where I think my face is as large as a mack truck.
Fooled around on CNN a little then decided to look for some real news. Found distressing stuff, posted and then did actual job work for a while.
Got a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch and decided I REALLY missed Poppy's grilled cheese in New Orleans.
Went to used bookstore and picked up The Complete Works of Flannery O'Connor, Faulkner's Absalom, Absalom!, Dostoyevsky's The Brother's Karamazov and a weird looking edition of C. Brontes' Jane Eyre for
ladybd who collects weird little copies of it. Put back Camus' The Rebel and Malanowski's Myth, Magic and Religion because I can't remember for the life of me if I already own them.
Decided on my way back to work that my Lenten act will be to be nice to all people no matter how they treat me. 40 days of concerted nice-ness from me - not always easy, but something I should strive for during the rest of the year as well. I'm also going to try not to make mental snide remarks about them and think up alternative reasons they might be acting the way they are instead.
Going with Frodo to the vet after work for a check up and to get him the rest of his shots if he needs any. I'm hoping they tell me he doesn't need to wear that cone around his neck anymore, as it's irritating both of us now.
Not sure what's happening after that. . . maybe get dinner or rent a movie. . . or write fics. . .
