Looks like the press is finally paying attention to the growing protest movement worldwide. I guess it can't be ignored anymore. I was somewhat please that this time CNN actually gave more coverage to the DC protest. Last time they covered mostly europe and ignored the 100,000 protesters surrouding the White House.

The estimates on the street from people watching the gathering past was that half a million people gathered and walked.

Yeah, I did notice the coverage being a lot more prominent. Still, I found it interesting how on a segment of "CNN Sunday" I just watched, while they mentioned the protests in the U.S. and showed a map of the country showing the cities, they didn't show any footage instead spotlighting protests in the U.K. (those silly Brits, protesting using a horse wearing a Bush mask on its face and a Blair mask on its ass) and in the Middle East (anti-American). If that's not a slant, I don't know what is.
