Now, the bad news - they start the story and we finish it. Doesn't sound so bad till you read the starter. It sucks. I mean, it really sucks. It's about on par with most of the QaF US fanfic crap out there. I mean, it's obvious that they asked the guy who did the website to spit this out. They wrote a sober, serene Brian. What's the fucking point of the show if Brian is sober and serene?
But still, I guess we need to get it where we can. Part of me wonders if they did this to keep the natives calm till March when season 3 finally starts.
In other news, ABC give anti-war a little equal time in a very well written article: Antiwar Cry: Iraq Invasion Opponents Face GOP Dominance, U.N. Resolution
The article talks on antiwar demonstrators and the impact they may or may not have on US war policy.
They also make a point of stating that 2 democratic senators that lost their bid for re-election voted for the Iraq resolution with the President, while no democrat that voted against it lost their seat. 4 dems in the House that voted for the resolution lost it, while only 1 dem who opposed it lost his seat. I think this goes to show that the majority of Americans aren't going to vote for the Democratic party if they think the party doesn't separate itself from the Republicans. If they vote the same on all the issues, might as well have a Republican in the office. Dems are losing because they wear two faces - and the people are starting to catch on to it.
