What color truly goes with bright orange without making you look like a sports fan? Orange and Blue - Broncos. Orange and Green - Gators. Orange and Brown - Browns or Bangles. Orange with yellow or red makes you look like a solar flare. Orange and black - pumpkin. I finally settled on a olive-brownish color for a fallish effect.

Orange and black were my high school's colors. It was as attractive as you can imagine.

At least bright orange gives you *some* options. Several times a year my neighborhood is flooded with tides of Tennessee Vols fans and that color orange they wear is ugly no matter what other colors are with it.

Meanwhile it wasn't 'til recently that I realized the school is Vols and not Voles. I kept wondering why they were named after a tiny mouse.
