What do you like best about your home?

The decor - I loved picking out the color schemes and odds and ends to personalize the place. I have two fountains in my bedroom - one is a white quartz crystal that illuminates with a blue sphere on top that rotates on the water. There a quartz rock garden at the bottom. Then I have have a stone Lion fountain in the window that's surrounded by greenary - vines, flowers and the like. The room has a blue, green and purple theme. Most of the decor is from Bali - got a hand carved jewelry cabinet, hand painted mirrors - some lanterns. There are nice folding bookshelves that line the walls. The living room is done in a Chinese/Japanese stile. A plain black couch with satin asian pillows - a dragon mirror behind it flanked by two Chinese prints. Got a poposan to complete the theme.

I also love the fact that I have an office. It's mostly Glowbugs room at the moment though . . .

What do you dislike?

The white walls - I think I might have to paint.

What would you change?

The arrangement of some of my furniture - I'd like a little more space in the living room, but there's just no where to put the stuff.

What would you add?

Heh, more crap to decorate with. It's still a little sparse. I need a few more things on the walls. Maybe a magazine rack and another end table. And I need to frame some old prints I've had for a while.

If you were given a nice sum of money and told you could only spend it on your home or furnishing it, how would you spend it?

I'd tear out the carpet and put in wooden floors - buy a couple of small to medium nice throw rugs. I really hate carpeting.

I was thinking today as I read CNN's article Europe, U.S. divided over Iraq - about the US declining the invitation from Iraq to go view their factories and then how Scott Ritter - former chief UN weapons inspector in Iraq (1991-1998) - is saying that Iraq is pretty much disarmed and poses no real threat. . . and well it got me thinking. . .

I think Iraq should demand an unconditional inspection of Area 51.

The truth is out there!
