Well, the weekend wasn't as non productive as I thought it was - I got my lion fountain put up and all the greenery round it so that my bedroom window is completely covered and looks like a portal to a jungle. It goes real nice with the crystal fountain on my dresser and I'm thinking about getting more vines to connect the vines and flowers on my dresser mirror. I also got my two Bali mirrors hung up and they look great. Weird how a few things on the walls make all the difference. I'm thinking I need to visit the framing store soon down the street from where I work.

I have a rolling table for my stereo now so that it's not sitting on the floor anymore - and there's a little shelf for my CD books, which is very nice.

Got laundry 2/3rds done. Two more loads tonight should do the trick. Woohoo! I so like not having to dig for clean clothes in the morning.

Things I need to do yet:

1. Clean Glowbug's cage.
2. Run sweeper
3. toss out boxes from my bedroom
4. Sort through bags from the move
5. Organize CD collection
6. Write fanfic
7. Start Thesis proposal
8. Learn Italian
I decide to go for a walk today down to the poster/framing shop to get more things for my walls. I'm looking at my little weatherbug and it's telling me it's only 77 degrees. Now, for the past month the temperature has been about a steady 97 degrees, so that's twenty degrees cooler than it's been and I should be grateful, right?

Well, it was a really nice walk down to the shop - breezy and cool in the shade, just the way I like it. But on the way back the heat started getting to me. I was sure it had climbed to at least 88. But no, it's only 80. Up only 3 degrees. I used to live in New Orleans, why can't I handle this now?

On the poster front, I got two nice Chinese prints to go on my wall sandwiching my dragon mirror from Bali. I'm happy with them. Then for my office I got an Einstein, an anti-establishment Nixon and South Park UFO poster that says "Believe". So the office is set. I need to get frames for the Chinese prints though, they were all out of the size in the store.

Now I'm reading the health info on my non-fat cottage cheese and it says it has 400mgs of sodium - is that how we make up for the lack of fat? It is damn tasty. . .
