Been ill the past few days, but I'm stil noodling ideas for making a living without selling the soul (mine or anyone elses). I like the idea of starting an alternative lifestyle publishing company and/or magazine. I'm thinking fiction, poetry, articles, opinion, religion, movie/book/TV/restaurant/fun-night-out reviews. I've been researching online mags and as far as alternative goes, there's GLBT stuff, but it's seems to be either geared toward social activism or getting laid. Neither of which is a bad pursuit, but, you know, there's more out there than that. There also seems to be this weird perception that alternate = GLBT, which alienates heterosexuals into BDSM, piercing, body modification, bohemian/transient lifestyles, anarchistism, communism and other anti-establishment folks, et cetera.

So I'm thinking. I'm noodling. starrigan, I'll be mailing ya as soon as I get my act together.
