So I'm reading the Teaching Professor e-journal that the school subscribed me to and I come across this arcticle, "Another Metaphor for Teaching Excellence: Machiavelli’s The Prince" and. Damn. I guess we're backtracking a tad toward older teaching models.

Next I'm waiting for "Draconian Law: A Metaphor for Dealing with Late Homework and the Constant Tardy Student", "Kill or be Killed: A Darwinian Career Start for the Aggressive Student" and, my favorite, "The Leviathan Within: A Timid Teacher's Guide for Releasing Their Secret Despot".
