Saw a number of people with this meme, so here it goes:
'List 5 reasons why you are a dork. And make them good reasons. Justify them. Explain them. Be loud and proud about how big of a dork you are!'
In no particular order:
1. I have a collection of Cthulhu paraphenelia such as plushies, Miskotonic Univeristy T-shirts and a Campus Crusade for Cthulhu bumper sticker. I've got the entire collection of H. P. Lovecraft, but will still buy the little .50 cent tradebacks if I come across them. I've also played The Call of Cthulhu once but died about 15 minutes into the game.
2. I was an avid player of Magic: The Gathering, but lost all my cards when I moved a few years ago.
3. I was an avid live action role player in outings through the trails in the woods by my house. Anything from capture the flag to playing characters in TV shows. My first memory of role playing was the character of Will Robinson of Lost in Space.
4. I used to collect Star Trek:TNG and DS9 trading cards, though I've no idea what happened to them. Which sucks because I had a pretty rare holographic card that was worth about $250 - God only knows what it's worth now.
5. I used to pretend my bike was either a white horse named Lightening or Wonder Woman's invisible jet. I once got a gift that was wrapped with gold stretchy string and I'd pretend that was the magic truth lasso. I've no idea was the actual gift was, but that gold string came in handy.
