Old friend, good times

Yesterday was spend with cyber-hubby Erick, who is in Denver currently to deliver a paper. Had a very wonderful outing. Talked politics, philosophy, sports, social weirdnesses, quantum, and then he handed over his 20 volume collection of Lucifer comics based off the Sandman. I have to read it by tomorrow evening. I think there may even be a quiz. Anyway, showed him downtown Denver. Went for martinis at the infamous Cruise Room and then traipsed over to Wazee's for pizza. Capped it off with some coffee and called it a night.

I'm dragging him out tomorrow to go for some New Mexican cuisine at Alexanders. Great whole-in-the-wall atmosphere, to die for food, best margaritas in town - really shitty service. Can't have it all.

Ahhhhhh, the old alt.books.anne-rice days! Lord, I remember it well, and what happy times they were! My memory might be faulty, but it seems like we wrote reams of fanfic, or what did we call them? 'Specs'!
