I read in the Isis news letter that Mercury is no longer in retrograde as of today. I'm assuming it's safe to come out now and get on with life. I really don't know much about Mercury being in retrograde, but it seems to explain August, so I'll go with it. But it's back on track, just in time for closing out the RNC, so I'll see it as a happy thing.

I must admit, I've not been paying much attention to the RNC other than to watch McCain on Letterman the other night. As Republicans go, I find McCain pretty neat. He certainly held his own against Letterman - though Letterman seemed to respect the guy. He's a well spoken decent guy. And I loved his comment over the failing of the gay-marriage-ban vote, "We'll see if the apocalyse happens now..." - I appreciated the sarcasm. It disturbs me a little that he's fallen in line with the party in the past few months though. Yeah, I know they're his people and all but... I didn't buy his line of not wanting to look back in anger on the whole 2000 bashing he got from Bush. I get that he doesn't want to hurt his state by bringing anger to the campaign, but I think you can maintain a healthy criticism without pouring on the sour grapes. I mean, it's not like Bush doesn't give any sane American an entire arsonal of material to critique.

But other than that little nugget I caught by accident the other night, just not feeling the energy to deal with Republicans. Too much going on in the private life right now to have the added aggrivation of insane troll logic. There's enough of it at work right now. I call it Trickle Down Insane Troll Logic. Be careful, it's catching on like wildfire.

Well, we'll see if the day brings any better vibes now with the whole Mercury thing straightening out and all...
