catscradle Jan. 26th, 2004 09:41 am)We got a freak snow storm last night. Hit while I was at the theater. Went in the theather it was about 50 degrees. Came out and about 5 inches of snow covered the ground and the temp was dropping fast.
Hoping against hope that by morning the university would be closed, it was in vain. Of course, universities never close unless you quite literally can't open the doors. That happened last year, so I think we've got about 99 more years before that will happen again =P
Roads are complete ice. I biffed while crossing the street and now I can't really move my shoulder without stabbing pains. Placed my arm on the desk so I can type. As long as I don't try to raise it at all, it's okay. Answering phones really sucks. I'm thinking of asking to leave once my co-workers on the late shift get in - though it looks like that might be a while. Cell call in from C says that all traffic is at a stand still on the free way =P
