catscradle Oct. 13th, 2003 09:56 am)Well, this weekend I picked out my couch. Again. They couldn't get the first one in the door last week, so I had to try it again. Got a sectional, this one should make it. It's a kinda burnt tan type color. Looked good in the store, hopefully it stays that way in my house. Though this morning I got a call asking me if I really wanted two of the sections an olive color to go with the center tan one. So I'm like "OH NO, NO!!!! Not olive! NO OLIVE! All tan. NO OLIVE!" I'm just glad that the delivery guys had the forethought to call it in to me - but now I'm scared as to why they had that on their paper work. I saw the sales lady write it down right and it's on my paper work right. God.
Also got curtains - dark reddish scarf with champaign panels. Have bead fringes on the bottom. Here's hoping that Frodo doesn't eat them.
By the way, I've decided Frodo is not a cocker spaniel. I was looking at pictures of cocker spaniels the other day and he didn't look like any of them. I've decided that he is, in fact, a moppet. A moppet that woke me up this morning at 2:30. . . But he's been good lately, so I just took him out and stumbled back to bed. . .
Also picked up Michael Moore's Dude, Where's My Country, Sting's Sacred Love and Dave Matthews' Some Devil. I've only gotten to Dave Matthews, but I totally love it =)
I named my computer this weekend. I don't normally do that, but the computer prompted me to name it, so I did. It's name is Kilgore. When the machines rise up, I'm fairly certain that Kilgore will protect me.
