The votes are in from the Move On primary. They say it's a good voting turn out of 317,647 people (though I'm not sure how good this is given that Move On has 1.5 million members - I'm a little dishartened as all they had to do is click a button a few times from the comfort of their own home). The purpose for the online primary was to see if any candidate had 50% or more of the support of the organization - then Move On would throw it's support behind that candidate. None of the cadidates got 50%, so they're urging it's members to ardently support whoever they voted for. On one hand, I think it's too bad they couldn't get united on a single candidate so that a concentration of money and volunteers could be given to them to thwart Bush. On the other hand, if *my* candidate didn't win, I really didn't want to support some of the candidates up there. There were only three I said I'd support - the others, not so much. So maybe this idea wouldn't work well anyway. Don't know. But here's the results. . .
Top Three:
DEAN - 43.87%
KUCINICH - 23.93%
KERRY - 15.73%
The Rest:
EDWARDS - 3.19%
GEPHARDT - 2.44%
GRAHAM - 2.24%
BRAUN - 2.21%
UNDECIDED - 2.01%
OTHER - 1.93%
SHARPTON - 0.53%
