"V" returns. . . maybe. . .

Just saw this on CNN and had a laughing fit:

They're back: 'V' to invade NBC again

LOS ANGELES, California (Hollywood Reporter) -- Twenty years after NBC's hit sci-fi miniseries "V" invaded the small screen, the network is bringing the aliens back with "V: The Second Generation," a three-hour TV movie from the original creator Kenneth Johnson.

When I was about twelve I was a fanatical follower of the show. We used to role play it in grade school. I was Julie - then I was Lydia when I didn't want to be a good guy anymore. I remember being so pissed off I had to wait till the end of the World Series before I could see the conclusion of the second mini-series. I rewatched it a few years ago and nearly died laughing how cheesy it looked by 1999 TV standards.

LOL! I was Diana when we role played...and sometimes Julie. I've even written some "V" fanfiction. This may be VERY cool! I bought the DVD's of the first two miniseries...but they never have released the DVD's of the series! Maybe this will remind them to do that! =D
