catscradle Feb. 12th, 2003 08:56 am)We dropped 30 students out of classes yesterday. About 20 of them were either regular military or reserve. Reason for dropping? Orders. They're being deployed. I can't help but feel a little scared and sad for them. There are those saying "They knew the risks when they signed up. . ." But you know, I'd hope we, as the people they're defending, would take a little more care of these men and women that have agreed to defend us and not send them off to face God-knows-what for a cause less than defending life and freedom.
